The Consumer Direct Family of Companies is pleased to include Colorado as the twelfth state in which the company now supports self-directed services. Services in Colorado commence on January 1, 2015.Consumer Direct for Colorado LLC (CDCO) was awarded the Training and Operations contract by Colorado’s Department of Health Care Policy and Financing for individuals participating in Consumer Directed Attendant Support Services (CDASS).As the Training and Operations vendor, Consumer Direct will offer enrollment training for CDASS clients, ongoing training for CDASS clients, and case management training for both CDASS and In Home Support Services (IHSS). In addition to training, Consumer Direct will assist in the coordination for all three Financial Management Services agencies in the state of Colorado.
When announcing award of the contract to CDCO in November, John Barry, HCPF’s Long Term Services and Supports Stakeholder Relations Manager, stated, “Consumer Direct will play a foundational role in the delivery and expansion of participant-directed programs in Colorado.”
