This spring our Care Network is joining together in a common cause by participating in Montana Walk for Wishes on June 15 at Fort Missoula Regional Park. Make-A-Wish is a national organization which grants life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Wishes generally fall into four categories: “I wish to go…”, “I wish to be…”, “I wish to have…”, and “I wish to meet…” A wish gives children the renewed energy and strength needed to fight their life-threatening illness. Many wish children go on to lead long, fulfilling lives after their Make-A-Wish experience. In fact, a granted wish can be so powerful that 74% of parents have observed that the wish marked a turning point in their child’s response to treatment. There are forty-two Montana children waiting for wishes and we ask you to join us!

You can participate in several ways. The most impactful is to donate or create a team. To donate, register a team or join an already existing team, go to walkforwishes.org and select Montana.

Make-A-Wish Montana’s Walk For Wishes event page is now live on Facebook. Share the event with friends and family.
