We are thrilled to hear one of our Idaho participants, Shannon Brown, was crowned 2018 Idaho Miss Amazing last Saturday, March 17. Shannon will move forward to compete in the National Miss Amazing pageant, August 3-6, in Chicago. Congratulations, Shannon!
Shannon loves to volunteer, having given her time and efforts to the West Valley Medical Center (local hospital), Karcher Estates (nursing home), and the YMCA over the past five years. Her new role as Idaho Miss Amazing is a natural fit, as she is a leader in her community and a confident young woman with a developmental disability. Shannon is making a difference in the way people view a person’s abilities. It has been our pleasure getting to know Shannon, and we are excited for her as she continues to be a prominent role model for our community.
