Vice President/Chief Operating Officer Beth Peterson’s considerable understanding of self-directed, person-centered care is matched by her dedication to providing that care and enabling others to do so as well. Beginning with a high school job in a nursing home and continuing throughout her career, Beth’s focus on improving care for individuals with developmental disabilities includes more than 22 years’ experience administering financial management and supports broker services, incorporating management of service delivery, billing, accounts payable, and payroll.
She first joined Consumer Direct Care Network in 2010 as a program manager and became COO in 2013. As COO, Beth has skillfully guided the operational implementations of several new state programs, along with ongoing supervision of operations in 13 states. Additionally, she has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from College of St. Benedict and advanced studies from St. Catherine University, is a certified trainer for person-centered planning, and serves on the advisory and policy boards for Applied Self-Direction.
Beth lives in St. Paul, Minnesota with her husband. They have two adult kids, and she enjoys watching college and professional sports.
